             Data Logger CL23 เป็นอุปกรณ์ทำหน้าที่บันทึกข้อมูลค่าวัดขนาดเล็ก ทั้งค่า Analog และ Counter (Totalizer) โดยข้อมูลนี้จะถูกบันทึกอย่างต่อเนื่องไว้ในหน่วยความจำภายในเครื่อง ซึ่งจะมีค่าวันและเวลาที่บันทึกไว้กำกับลงไปด้วย โดย Analog Input สามารถระบุย่านที่จะวัดได้ตั้งแต่ 4-20 mA, 1-5 VDC, 0-5 VDC, 0-10 VDC ส่วน Totalizer นั้นจะทำการนับจำนวน Pulse ที่เข้ามาและจะบันทึกค่านับทั้งหมดลงในหน่วยความจำด้วย

             การอ่านข้อมูลที่บันทึกอยู่ใน CL23 ทำได้โดยใช้เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์เชื่อมต่อกับ CL23 ผ่านทาง RS-232 Port หรือ ผ่านทาง Modem โดยมีโปรแกรมช่วยในการอ่านข้อมูลเข้าคอมพิวเตอร์ ข้อมูลที่ได้จะนำมาแสดงผลบนคอมพิวเตอร์ในแบบตัวเลขหรือนำมาแสดงในรูปแบบกราฟได้ ข้อมูลนี้สามารถนำไปใช้ในโปรแกรม บน Windows อื่นๆ เช่น MS Excel, MS Word ซึ่งช่วยให้สะดวกในการนำข้อมูลไปทำการคำนวณเพิ่มเติมหรือจัดทำรายงานได้อีกด้วย

            GPRS Data Logger CL27 เป็นอุปกรณ์ทำหน้าที่บันทึกข้อมูลค่าวัดต่างๆ CL27 สามารถวัดสัญญาณได้ทั้งแบบ Analog และ Digital (Pluse) โดย CL27 จะบันทึกค่าวัดอย่างต่อเนื่องลงใน Flash Memory การบันทึกข้อมูลทุกครั้งจะมีเวลาและวันที่ในการบันทึกข้อมูลกำกับไว้และจะส่งข้อมูลที่บันทึกได้นั้นผ่านสัญญาณ GPRS เข้าสู่เครือข่ายอินเตอร์เน็ต ไปยังเซิร์ฟเวอร์ (MySQL, SQL Server) ของระบบ Centralized Data Logging System (รายละเอียด) สามารถดูข้อมูลพร้อมกันผ่านทาง Smart Phone, Tablet หรือ PC ได้ ซึ่ง CL27 สามารถเลือกโหมดการบันทึกข้อมูลได้ 3 แบบ คือ Continuous, Schedule และ Appointment และสามารถตั้งค่าจากระยะไกลให้กับ CL27 ผ่านทาง GSM Modem ได้

            Analog Input สามารถเลือกสัญญาณการวัดไม่ว่าจะเป็นสัญญาณ 4-20 mA, 0-100 mVDC, 1-5 VDC, 0-5 VDC, 0-10 VDC โดย CL27 จะบันทึกค่าวัดอย่างต่อเนื่องเก็บไว้ โดยการบันทึกทุกครั้งจะมีเวลาและวันที่ในการบันทึกกำกับไว้

            Digital Input สามารถรับสัญญาณได้ทั้งแบบ Logic และ Counter โดย Logic จะแสดงการ "ON" หรือ "OFF" ส่วน Counter จะแสดงค่าผลรวม (Totalized) ของจำนวน Input Pulse เช่น ใช้บันทึกค่า Totalized ของ Flow หรือบันทึกค่า Kwh. ของการใช้ไฟฟ้า


Centralized Data Logging System

            จากรูป เป็นการแสดงระบบ Centralized Data Logging System ที่พัฒนามาจากระบบฐานข้อมูลบนเซอร์ฟเวอร์ทั่วไป ที่สามารถเข้าใจง่ายคือ CL27 จะส่งข้อมูลสัญญาณ GPRS เข้าสู่ระบบเครือข่ายอินเตอร์เน็ต ไปยังเซอร์ฟเวอร์ของระบบ และข้อมูลที่อยู่บนเซอร์ฟเวอร์นั้นสามารถเรียกดูหรือจัดการได้ทุกที่ ผ่านเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์, พีดีเอ, โทรศัพท์เคลื่อนที่หรืออื่นๆ ที่สามารถเชื่อมต่อกับระบบอินเตอร์เน็ตได้

            กล่าวคือ Centralized Data Logging System เป็นระบบจัดเก็บข้อมูลบนเครือข่ายและเป็นระบบการจัดเก็บข้อมูลแบบรวมศูนย์ โดยนำเอาความสามารถของเซอร์ฟเวอร์และระบบอินเตอร์เน็ตมาใช้ โดยข้อมูลต่างๆ จะมารวมกันที่เซอร์ฟเวอร์ และใช้ระบบอินเตอร์เน็ตเป็นตัวกระจายข้อมูล ทำให้ง่ายต่อการจัดการและเข้าถึงได้ทุกที่ที่มีอินเตอร์เน็ต โดยไม่จำเป็นต้องมาดึงเอาข้อมูลที่ตัวอุปกรณ์
