            GSM Alarm RC38 เป็นอุปกรณ์ที่ใช้สำหรับการแจ้งเตือนเมื่อได้รับสัญญาณการเกิด Alarm จากภายนอก RC38 จะส่งข้อความแจ้งเตือนไปยังเบอร์โทรศัพท์ซึ่งถูกโปรแกรมไว้ล่วงหน้า การโปรแกรมข้อความและเบอร์โทรศัพท์สามารถโปรแกรมได้โดยผ่านทางเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ RC38 สามารถใช้งานได้ดังต่อไปนี้
            1. Analog Input Alarm สามารถตั้งค่า Alarm ได้ 2 ค่า คือ High-Alarm และ Low-Alarm เมื่อเกิด Alarm RC38 จะส่ง SMS ออกไป
            2. Digital Input Alarm สามารถเลือกให้ทำงานได้เป็น Counter-Mode หรือ Status-Mode
               2.1. Counter-Mode จะส่ง SMS ไปเมื่อ Counter นับค่าถึงค่า Setpoint ที่ตั้งไว้
               2.2. Status-Mode จะส่ง SMS ไปเมื่อมีการเปลี่ยนแปลง Digital Input
            3. Digital Output สามารถส่ง SMS มาควบคุมการ ON-OFF ของ Digital Output ได้
            4. Read Out สามารถส่ง SMS มาเพื่อทำการอ่านค่าวัดจาก RC38 ได้

เมื่อ GSM Alarm RC37 ได้รับสัญญาณการเกิด Alarm จากภายนอกผ่านทาง Digital Input RC37 จะส่งข้อความ SMS แจ้งไปยังเบอร์โทรศัพท์ซึ่งถูกโปรแกรมไว้ล่วงหน้า การโปรแกรมข้อความ SMS และเบอร์โทรศัพท์ ผู้ใช้สามารถโปรแกรมเองได้ โดยผ่านทางคอมพิวเตอร์ RC37 สามารถรับสัญญาณ Digital การเกิด Alarm ได้จากอุปกรณ์หลายแบบ เช่น PLC, Contact Switch, Proximity Sensor นอกจากนี้ผู้ใช้สามารถส่ง SMS เพื่อควบคุมการ ON-OFF ของ Digital Output ได้
