            The Peak-Hold Signal Conditioner SC21 operates in two modes. When terminals 5 and 6 are shorted, the unit operates in Track Mode; when they are open, it operates in Peak-Hold Mode. The differences between these two modes of operation are as follows:

            Peak-Hold Mode When the input value increases, the output increases accordingly; however, when the input value decreases, the output maintains its peak value rather than decreasing with the input. The output will only increase again once the input rises above its previous peak.

            Track Mode The input and output always fluctuate by the same amount.
