TF96: Thermocouple To Frequency

- Interface to PLC digital input

- Programmable range

- Linearized output

- Isolation of input, output and power supply

- Cold junction compensation

Thermocouple To Frequency TF96 This device enables a PLC to receive temperature readings from a thermocouple sensor without requiring an analog input channel. It converts temperature values into a frequency signal fed to the PLC's digital input; the PLC's high-speed counter then measures the signal frequency, which varies in proportion to the temperature. The TF96 is particularly useful for allowing Micro PLCs which typically only accept digital input signals to receive temperature data from thermocouples.
