RS-232/RS-485/RS-422 to 3G RC34 เป็นอุปกรณ์ที่ช่วยให้เครื่องมือที่มีพอร์ต RS-232 หรือ RS-485/RS-422 สามารถส่งข้อมูลผ่านทางเครือค่ายโทรศัพท์ 3G (Modem Built in) โดยยังคงสามารถใช้งานร่วมกับโปรแกรมของเดิมได้ ทำให้การใช้งานของอุปกรณ์สามารถเชื่อมต่อได้โดยไม่มีข้อจำกัดทาง Serial Port อีกต่อไป

โหมดการใช้งานของ RC34 คือ Virtual COM Mode เมื่อต้องการใช้โปรแกรมบนเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์เพื่อติดต่อผ่าน RC34 โดยใช้ 3G สามารถจำลอง COM Port ขึ้นมาแทน ทำให้ไม่ต้องใช้อุปกรณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ COM Port ทางฝั่งของเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์เลย
