RF96: RTD To Frequency

- Interface to PLC digital input

- Programmable Range

- Isolated input to output to Power supply

- True lead length compensation

RTD To Frequency RF96 This device enables a PLC to acquire temperature readings from a PT100 sensor without requiring an analog input channel. The RF96 operates by converting temperature values into a frequency signal fed to the PLC's digital input; the PLC's high-speed counter then measures this signal frequency, which varies in proportion to the temperature. This device is particularly useful for Micro PLCs which typically only accept digital inputs allowing them to receive temperature data from PT100 sensors.
